French Club anguage Clubs stress understanding Two important clubs on campus, the French Club and the Spanish Club, stressed the understanding of different cultures and countries. One of the problems which affects everyone today is misunderstanding and lack of communication, not only individually but internationally. However, with the further comprehension of French and Spanish, and the greater appreciation of the foreign culture, through films, tra- ditional -foods, and literature, Miraleste High School may be on the road ofunderstanding. With more and more Miraleste stu- dents traveling to different nations, it's a refreshing change to reverse that position with the three foreign exchange students attending our school through the American Field Service. This national organization arranged the visits of Roula Toulidis, from Greece, Kazuo Matsu- mura, from Japan, and Karl Vellner, from Sweden. Living in the homes of MHS families, these students were able to experience American life and share their culture with their new friends from the United States.
