26 f' Hr 'lv So you said the avant- garde no longer existed, well this year, Mira Mesa students radiated flair with the various styles which were evident in the campus. What goes around comes around, the old saying goes, and fashion was not an exception. From crinnoline to bubble skirts styled reminiscent of the early century came back this year. The outback look displayed browns, blues and yellows. For the me conservative. students adorned themselves in sweaters a Cardigans, dress shirts and slacks for that fail-proof GQ look. The ev casual surfer look still had its disciples and leather...what else can ' say except it cam back even stronger, while the newly establish skater style caught the eye of many students. To see and be seen was deNnitely the major goal this year. 'I we clothes from Liliaana San Francisco which are remakes of clothes frc the psychedelic sixties, commented the modern-day go-go danc Rachel Colville. To complete the look, students turned to accesor which included scrunccies Calso pronounced scrunchiesj, bows, hu. earrings and gaudy rings. So this year. when it came to fashion, students of Mira Mesa Hi School stepped out in style.
