Both the game and halftime activities sent the crowd into a frenzied state of spirit and enthusiasm. Essex Burton paved the way for the lVlarauder victory, rushing a phenome- nal 242 yards and scoring three touch- dovvns. The Masquerade theme of the dance created a mysteri- ous, romantic at- mosphere that was enhanced by the silver and lavender decorations ador- ning the gym. The high point of the evening occured at the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King, Tracy Cook and Vinny Lopez. As the pair commenced their spotlight dance, hundreds of white and lavender balloons rained down upon the crovvd, vvho soon returned to their magical night of ,JM dancing and revelry. 5 HOMECDNIING
