hosts and goblins invaded the campus as Halloween arrived. The kid-at-heart came out in all, as colorful costumes replaced ordinary fashions. Students and staff alike wore weird creations ranging from outrageously funny to darkly mysterious. The lunchtime activity was a wild race resulting in the construction of goofy goblin, with spirit points as prizes. In preparation for the traditional holiday, the Klassic Kid-Varsity Club Halloween Run offered the chance to run in costume and feast on pancakes, all for a good cause. Frightfully exciting prizes were offered, along with post-race entertainment and refreshments. Weekend parties brought out the spirit as costume-clad fun seekers danced through the dark nights. Halloween night brought out howls of delight along with a few terrified shrieks. Those passing for the under- twelve bracket squeezed into old outfits and made rounds of the neighborhood in search of candy. Many took terror-tours through traditional haunted houses such asThe Dark Castle, The Haunted Museum, and Scream-in- the-Dark, in which the Drama Club participated. Along with the frights were the inevitable pranks, but all in good Halloween fun. Even so, MMHS didn't really need a holiday celebrating the unusual. With such a diversity of ideas and styles, every day was Halloween. 3. Earning some spirit points forthe seniors, Teddy Dequzman is turned into a Goblin during lunch. 4.
