. .9 . 5 U 5 4.' .4 ' 0 I ' . G t - 1 ' avaging Mira Mesa crowds at the Homecoming game was an epidemic known as L 1'spirit'. It took hold of excited fans and spurred them to cheer the players on to a --P 'victory of 26 to 16 for varsity and 21 to 13 for junior varsity, both triumphs over Point Loma. Key players were Kenny Jones, John Dykeman, DeWayne Odom, and Eddie Outlaw. Postponed until Saturday for the first time, the Homecoming dance was an immense Success. All co-sponsors for the dance, the senior class, the National Honor Society, and- the ASB fitted the gym into a Grecian creation that . coincided perfectly with Greek Week. Over a . thousand people marveled 0 - at the entry columns, had their pictures taken, listened to music supplied by Music- X . I ' 4 Go-Around, and danced the 3.-0' night away. Festivities ' climaxed with the unveil- ' ' ing of the 1985-86 Home- 3 coming King, Stacey Lambeth, and Queen, Shannon Ftozsa.
