After seeing new faces and While bidding a found farewell to summer and shaking sand out of shoes and clothes, it was hard to face the long school months ahead. All students advertised their social standing as Freshmen wandered around campus with maps of the school and lost looks on their faces. Well seasoned Seniors sauntered through the gates with an admiring look at their ffwelcome pack decora- tions and an air of well deserved superiority. The first week of school was a hassle, but it was exciting!! -Laura Ridge old places during the first week of school, not many found it difficult to get pack into the swing of a new and improved school year

Marauders overflowed from the lower bleachers and filed into the top during the first football game played under the stadium lights. With blue and goldeverywhere, pom-poms waving, and people cheering, the first touch-down against the Kearny Komets was scored. A score of 31-16 ended the game in a fury of yelling, screaming, and singir' Football inspired a u b i q u i to u s winning mood. -Romeo Agbayani After the game, students poured from the stands into the gym to kick off the social part of the season. Over a thousand tickets were sold to the dance and attendance ran up to about nine-hundred students. The Sound lnnovators supplied a wide variety of music, rocking the fan filled gym and kicking the football season off with a bang. Q W
