Cruise Directors Navigate This year's A.S.B. is one of the most thinking group of individual characters that I ever worked with, affirmed Admiral Judy Earle. Each time a subject was brought about, the fourteen cruise directors set their minds full speed ahead. The five high ranking officers, who led the ASB. were Captain-Steve Greene, Commander-Mina Ocampo, Steward-Saundra Valenzuela, and HistorianeAdriana Martinez. These officers attended dances and activities and assisted in setting them up. Directing and benefitting activities to keep the school spirit afloat was what the ASB. did best. They held dances, conducted noontime activities, campus clean-up, parades, hosted homecoming dance, pep rallies, and assemblies for passengers who had excellent grades and great citizenship. Captain Steve Greene also aired the bulletin for the entire ship twice a week over the PA, system. 18 A.S.B. 7 i P ls ,gp-w-Wm H kv

Crui ing To The Music Cruise directors of this year's kick-off dance opening the year, were the A.S.B., the Key Club, and the Senior Class, which were in charge of ticket sales. These active sailors also ran the concession stand in the lobby of the promenade deck, while Marauders sailed through the evening with music by D.J. K-Hollywood, who played a variety of popular hits. The highlight of the evening was a drawing for a pair of Rolling Stones concert tickets, won by Lori Ramos. The dance was profitable and an enjoyable evening cruise for everyone involved due to the large turnout. 1. Marauders take a break from the fast pace of the dance, 2. Passengers pose for a quick picture on deck before proceeding to the starlight room. 3. Seaworthy uoyagers entertain themselves. 4. Julie Malo and Andy Brockmire punk with perfection. 5. Rich Brady and Susie Doane sail with the music. 20 Dance .V .... . . .
