Fluttering blue and gold waves upon white flags signaled to all that the MARAUDERETTES were present. Kicking high and snapping 'round ,they strutted to the drumbeat of the band. The Captain called the cadence while the Lieutenants led their units. Flags twirled as skirts swirled and shiny white boots pranced. The games were more than just fun. The MARAUDERETTES also performed at Homecoming festivities and in local parades as well as entering competitions against other high school drill teams, Twelve long hours were the price of perfection. Numerous fundraisers financed trips to compete. Members rocked around the clock in a rockathon g sold a year's supply of calories in each box of candyg washed cars and sold roses for datesg as well as presenting a potpourri of rountines in concert with the band. This yearls bright new uniforms were purchased with funds raised from last yearfs events. The team on the field became buddies off the field. Every performance ended with a trip for pizza and...fdon't tell Momjmroot beer. Drill Team 13
