The Math Club was one of the larger clubs at Mira Loma this year. A car wash and a dance featuring Milestone helped to finance the annual trip to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo where the members took a math lest. They also put on a study session for the MAA test. Gymnastics The Mira Loma Gymnastics Team had a year in which to be proud. They placed third out of twelve schools in the area qualify- ing meet. They competed in compulsories for the first time also. The girls worked hard to get where they are. They workout four days a week, two hours a day. Mira Loma can look foreward to another great year, as far as gymnastics is concerned, for many of the girls are freshmen and sophomores. The girls are under the direction ofMrs. Kellam. l72

M ou ntaineers The Moutaineers are probably the largest club here at Mira Loma. Under the advisership of Mr. Lahr and Mr. Torgerson they planned several trips. Their usual trip to Point Reyes, to Round- top, and a snowshoeing trip,all made for a well rounded year. 174
