Under the leadership of Leslie Chaimson, the club planned a great dance featuring the band Milestone. A Coloma trip and a progressive dinner made for a well-rounded year. The club this year is sponsoring our foreign exchange student Anick Dompas from Belgium. 162

Astronomy Club The Astronomy Club this year is most outstanding and active. With all the great astronomical attractions of the year, such as the Comet Kohoutek and the close look at Jupiter, interest is always blooming. Mr. Iljana, the clubs adviser, held several classes at his home which were both in- teresting and enjoyable. Several star-parties added to this enjoy- ment, and the weekly meetings were knowledgeable and fun for all. Look! Look! exclaims Mr. Iljana. 164
