GIRLS' LEAGUE EXECUTIVE BOARD, L. to R.: Anne Carr, Judy Martin, Linda Reardon, Mrs. McVey, Toni Hinds, Georiess For- rester. Friendship and Service In accordance with the motto of the Mira Costa Girls' League, Loyalty, Friendship, and Service, the organi- zation proved to have a year full of worthwhile activities. The Girls' League sponsored events throughout the year for all to enioy. The season began with Howdy-Day tags, in a coffee house theme. The Cotton and Cord Dance, also in the same theme, and the Christmas proi- ect were both very successful. The Coronation Ball, which was a turn- about attair, climaxed the year. In addition to the annual program, the convening of the Regional Con- ference fell on Mira Costa for the year '59-'60, Under the capable leadership of the board, Linda Reardon, President, Anne Carr, ist Vice-President, Toni Hinds, 2nd Vice-President, Judy Mar- tin, Secretary, Georiess Forrester, Treasurer, and class representatives, the league maintained the high stand- ards previously set.
