The minutes for the Council Meetings were recorded by Alice Ann Bobbitt. Be- sides her regular duties the secretary at- tended many-forums. Frank Lathrop, new Vice President conducted the Council Meetings when Bill Kelly was absent. john Beckenholdt, treasurer for a fourth semester reported that Mira Costa is do- ing well financially. In order to show the student body how their sehool government is run a special Council Meeting was held on the stage of the auditorium as a suc- cessful assembly program. Among the many events filling the busy calendar were: Clean Campus Drive started in January by Kit Adams, Commissioner of Campus. At this time the new Friday Schedule was initiated. Pioneer League Forum held at Culver City, with the Sportsmanship Trophy as the chief topic. Southern California Student Body Lead- ership Convention was held on the cam- pus of the University of Southern Califor- nia. Frank Lathrop Vice President
