S. of the Class of '50, being of somewhat sound mind and body, do hereby make and publish our last will and testament. We, the Seniors, as a whole, will our ability to get along with our classmates to the Juniors, kindly appreciate this gift for you will probably need it badly next year. To the Sophomores, we will our ability to get out of school without studying, not that you need this ability. To the Freshmen, we will our empty bottles and old cigarettes to keep you in style and good spirit. And, to the babies of M. H. S. fnamely, the Seventh and Eighth Graders., we will our ability to enjoy ourselves wherever we are, use it wisely or it may get you into trouble not that you don't get in enough trouble anyway. I, Dolores will my ability to keep my hair curled to Julia Lea Walthers. She doesn't need it but every little bit helps. I, Betty Jean Taylor, will my teeth to Myrna Sifers, now you can eat steak, too. I, Henry Lovato, will my form in basketball to Merrill Sinclair. Don't forget the pose. I, Gwen Phillips will my 5' Z height to Maxine Hughes. Start shrinking Maxine. I, Catherine Evans will my ability to get along with Mr. Cochran to Dorothy Ginther. I, Harold Goodale, will my manners to Jimmy Lucerne. Take care of them Jimmy Also, I, Harold Goodale, will my intelligence to Smokey Matheson. Come on Smokey and use your brains. 11 I, Gwen Phillips, will my ability to argue, to Barbara Deviney. If you use it right, you will never be at a loss for words. Also my ability to go with one boy at a time to Madeline Jenkins. This may be good advice if you will use it. I, Pauline Starr, will 'my ability to go with short men to Marlene Grant, and my ability as a cheerleader to Roylene. Come on girls keep up the good record. I, Betty Jean Taylor, will my dancing ability to Barbara Ellis, and Betty Hoaglund. Come on girls start stepping. Also, I will my ability to get places fwhich was willed to me by Speed Ellis, to Madeline Jenkins. Don't spoil our record by getting there on time. I, Dolores Sullivan, will my ability to get along with people to Mary Ellen Kutz, come on Kutz, it will keep everyone happy. I, Katie Evans, will my brown eyes to Barbara Deviney. Come on Barbara make them sparkle. Tommy Evans, the real spook, passed the name of spook on to Leonard Hoaglund, from Leonard Hoaglund to Jimmy Sifers, from Jimmy Sifers to Marcelino Motoya. Since he didn't pass it on, we wish to revive the name, spook and pass it on to Bobby Trump. Don't forget to pass it on when you graduate. We, the Seniors, will our many good times and happy memories to all lowerclassmen. To our teachers, we will our ability togsmile and have a good time. To the boys, we will our bottles of spirits which were passed on to us through the years by other Seniors. in JM ,Cow 'W 12 Class Prophecy As Revealed To Jimmy LaNite One night while walking down a lonely, dark and dreary road, I suddenly became aware of a very strange feeling. A feeling I was in a different world. ln a more modern world than I had ever been in before. I saw very strange visions coming before my eyes. Visions of people I had gone to school with. First I saw Henry Lovato, President of the Class of 1050. Hank was now President of the United States Mint at San Francisco. He was married to a very sweet girl, the former Miss Ashcraft of Gypsum, and had two children, both of which were redheads.. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw Harold Goodale. He had inherited a large sum of money and had opened up large drug companies all over the world, the name in big letters, UGOODALE DRUG COMPANY INC. Next, I saw Catherine Evans. She was now head nurse at the Bellview Hospital in New York City, New York. Katie was married to Kenneth Matheson and had four children, two boys and two girls. I blinked my eyes and Katie was no longer there, but Pauline Starr had taken her place. Polly was now a stenographer in the President's Office of the White House in Washington D. C. Polly was still single, but had great plans for marrying a guy by the name of Ray. Gwen Phillips appeared next. She was owner of the J. C. Penney chain stores throughout the United States. Gwen's high school dreams had now come true. She had married Bill Mindenhall. After Gwen, visions of Dolores Sullivan came into view. She was head hostess on her husband's fLarry Baker! Yacht. Dolores now has twins, Larry Jr. and Terry. Next there was Betty Taylor. Betty graduated from Loretto Heights College with honors. She is now superintendent of one of the largest hospitals in Hawaii. As these visions cleared away I heard a very familiar voice calling to me time to get up Jimmy. I could hardly realize I had just been dreaming, because it had seemed so true to life. 13 fag? was Q F2 fi Eb A db wmzzgxqfamsymgm xx Q! db f Juniors JUNIOR CLASS FRONT ROW: Left io Right: Kenneth Matheson, Merrill Sinclair, Dorothy Ginther, Madeline Jenkins.
