Koppo Pi grows The division of fine and applied arts added a new drawing studio and work area which helped overcome the spatial problem they had in previous years. Kappa Pi, the national honorary art fra- ternity, has almost doubled its membership since last year. Kappa Pi received its charter December, 1967. It has become an active or- ganization on and off campus. During the city of Minot's Western Week last October Kappa Pi members did pictures reminiscent of the old and present West on the windows of downtown business places. This art club sponsored a Homecoming queen candidate last October. The living and dining centers in the home economics department are now separate units, greatly increasing their practicability and usefulness for teachers and students. The number of students enrolled in home economics courses indicates the need for a major in that field. There are probably enough courses for the major, but as yet Minot State cannot offer this. b f th division of fine and applied Ruth Amos, Frank O. Taylor, Mrs. Alene Bjerklie, and C. R.
