Setting up the groundwork for other Stu- dent Associations to follow was the main goal of the 1967-68 SA at Minot State College. And under the direction of Jim Ballard they did just that. They approached the point Where it could be said that they actually rep- resented the student body as its main govern- ing body. There Were some firsts in the SA this year. In the fall they handled freshman orientation completely alone for the first time. And throughout the year they completely cleared all the debts accumulated through other years by past SAS. The SA is made up of 20 senators-one from each of the 13 divisions and one from each sorority and fraternity-and four elected officers. SA strives for real representation
