PAUL C. RISTVEDT, Aviation Education instructor, was born in Ryder, N. D. Mr. Ristvedt attended Minot State Teachers College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree and the University of North Dakota, where he ob- tained a Master of Science de- gree. WILLIAM S. ROBINSON, who is instructor of World History, Speech and Dramatics, is the Playmakers' adviser and conse- quently directs the school plays. Mr. Robinson claims Charles- ton, W. Va. for his home town. He attended Morris Harvey to obtain a Bachelor of Arts de- gree and the University of New York to earn a Master of Arts degree. RICHARD SCHEERENBERGER, Supervisor of Special Education, is the adviser for the Photogra- phy staff. Mr. Scheerenberger lived in Milwaukee, Wis., and attended Wisconsin State College to ob- tain a Bachelor of Science de- gree. He earned his Master of Education degree at the Univer- sity of Marquette. HELEN A. SHEPARD has a teach- ing schedule which includes American Government, Econom- ics, Sociology and World Geog- raphy. Advising the Sophomore Class is one of her extra ac- tivities. Miss Shepard comes from Kenyon, Minn. He also advises the Science Club and directs the annual Science Fair. Mr. Robinson came to Minot from Davenport, Iowa. He is a graduate of St, Ambrose Col- lege, where he earned a Bach- elor of Arts degree. He ob- tained a Master of Science de- gree from the University of North Dakota. EULA M. RUSH is instructor in the subiect of English Ill. She also serves as the adviser for the Red Cross Council. To obtain her Bachelor of Sci- ence degree, Mrs. Rush attended the University of Illinois and Minot State Teachers College. She originally came from Paris, Illinois. ELEANOR A. SCHROEDER edu- cates students in United States History and advises the Pep Club. Miss Schroeder is a native of Westhope, N. D., and earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of North Dakota. RAYMOND D. SKORHEIM teach- es Vocational Agriculture to the students and also conducts adult evening classes. He is the ad- viser for the Future Farmers of America organization. Mr. Skorheim's hometown is Adams, N.D. He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science de- gree.

ART HOVDE, instructor of Health and Physical Education, is the head basketball coach. Mr. Hovde is a native of Aneta, N. D., and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mayville State Teachers Col- lege, Mayville, N. D. WILLARD B. LAABS, who in- structs courses in Economics, Debate and Discussion, is a na- tive of Winona, Minn. Mr. Laabs earned his Bach- elor of Arts and Master of Sci- ence degrees at Winona State Teachers College. LOUISE O'CONNOR is the in- structor of Shorthand and Typ- Ing. Miss O'Connor originally came from Winona, Minn. She attended Valley City State Teachers College to obtain a Special Commercial diploma. MIKE PITCHER, the' Graphic Arts and Woodwork instructor, comes from Courtney, N. D. Mr. Pitcher attended the Uni- versity of North Dakota where he earned his Bachelor of Sci- ence degree. th- 19' 'Q sf S JOHAN O. JOHNSON, who teaches English ll and United States History, is a native of Sawyer, N. D. Mr. Johnson attended Minot State Teachers College, where he earned a Bachelor of Sci- ence degree. MAl NAGATOMO, who is an alumna at Minot High school, teaches English IV and News- writing. Her spare time is taken up with the High Times, Search- light and Quill and Scroll ad- visership. Miss Nagatomo attended Minot State Teachers College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. HELEN MARIE PAULSON, a na- tive of Watertown, S. D., is the Bookkeeping and Typing in- structor. Miss Paulson attended Minot State Teachers College, the University of Denver and the University of California at Berke- ley, She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. RICHARD FIELDING RATHMAN is the World History and French instructor. A newcomer to Mi- not High school, he is in charge of Visual Aids. Mr. Rathman, a native of Palo Alto, Calif., obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif., and is a Doctor of University of Paris in France.

KEENAN H. SMlTH, the Bi- ology instructor, serves as ad- viser to the senior class and to the Ushers Club. He is a native of Superior, Wis., and attended Superior State Teachers College to ob- tain his Bachelor of Science de- gree. Mr. Smith received his Master of Education degree from the Wisconsin State College. ESTHER WERRE, Sociology, Geography and Typing instruc- tor returns to Minot High school for her second year. She also taught here in 1952. Miss Werre comes from New Leipzig, N. D. She attended the University of North Dakota and Dickenson State Teachers Col- lege to obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree. Q ,ff af ftiajfyggfof FRANK A. STECKEL instructs stu- dents along the lines of Elec- tricity, Metals, Home Mechanics, Crafts, Mechanical Drawing, Vo- cational Agriculture and Shop. Mr. Steckel is originally from Hankinson, N. D. He attended Valley City State Teachers Col- lege, the University of Notre Dame and the University of North Dakota to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree. LILLIAN M. WILSON, a native of Minot, serves as the school li- brarian. She also advises the Library Club. To obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree, Miss Wilson attended Minot State Teachers College. She earned her Master of Arts degree from the University of Denver in Colorado.
