Our newest department, industrial arts, offered a technical drawing course dur- ing the second semester. Bev Mariano- vich and Ron Williamson seem very intent on their work. Mr. Baker is shown dictating a letter to the shorthand class to increase their writing speed. 48 The typing room is next on our tour. Office practice class includes an inten- sive unit on filing. Sigrunn H., Judy B., Mary C., Sharon A., and Linda L. compare notes on their filing practice sets.

All freshman students take either al- gebra or general math. Here we see algebra students Dave Peterson, Dan Friant, and Kathy Bols graphing an equation. Let's walk across the hall and visit our new addition at M.C.H.S. This is where the industrial arts classes meet. Wally Kundert adds the finishing touches to a coffee table as Mr. Agney and the second period class watch. Asking Mr. McLaughlin to explain a general math problem are Mitch Ed- wards, Tina Johnson, and Dave Brown.
