Gillrey, K. Courcy, R. Grant, M. Brody, J. Carney, M. Decescre September began with soccer all right, But oh! the injuries sure were a sight, And what do you think of a team in that heat Who really and truly couldn't be beat. Cheerleading tryouts were late in June, Practice followed very soon. Then the day we waited for cameg All nervous and excited we cheered our first game. Basketball - tho we liked that best And tho we played with the greatest zest The games we won were very few, But what can you expect from such a crew. The trampoline appeared with its big bounces, And tumbling removed some of our ounces. The Spring Festival, which we skipped last year Came back again with many a cheer. April began with softball in sight, Outdoors, at last, in the sunshine bright. Archery came last with its far flying arrows, It surely is luck we didn't hit any sparrows. The Girls Athletic Association ls known throughout this great nation. We all look forward to our trip in May For this is the highlight of the G.A.A. As these four years have come to a close And out into the world each senior goes, We'll treasure these memories of Minoa High, Friendships and loyalty will always stay nigh. M.R.F.-C. A. F.
