We are Seniors now, that is trueg Thus, in june, with school we're through. When we look back o'er the years We think of the happiness we've known, Of our first and many fearsg And ofthe kindness our teachers have shown. We remember our attempt to have a paper drive, And our disappointment when it was denied. ln our second year there were magazines and memo pads to be sold. When this was well done, we became more bold, So then we sponsored several dances Which, we dare say, started some new romances. As our treasury steadily grew We approached our junior yearg And this, of course, we knew Meant our last term was near. For instance, the chicken supper was a big success, Although the aftennath was quite a mess. The school paper was published toog And its importance was not surpassed. We conquered that year okay And now we're on our way, To struggle through our last yearg Which we know we'll hold most dear. We have had our last chicken supper, And it was again a success. So now we're preparing our yearbook, Which we hope will be the best. Soon we'l1 leave on our senior trip to New York and Washingtong And then we'1l return to skip Ahead to the final run. The last feat of all Will be the Senior Ball. To end our high school years Will be commencement and graduationg And we wish our successors many good cheers. Thus we start a new life to fulfill our ambitions. D.L.P
