First Day of School The sun rises slowly over the trees and shines in their room. They turn their head and try to go back to sleep. As the radio alarm goes off, they stumble out of bed. As they turn on the shower, they realize that this will be the way their day will start for the next nine months. But what happens to all the money? Our jobs are scattered all over: video stores, tanning booths, food joints, department stores, and many other places. Each person puts in long, hard hours. Parties, sports events, and dates are sometimes missed, but we hang in there. The hardest thing about work is the limitation of time. When can we do our homework, talk on the phone, or go shopping?
