Queen's Tea And Coronation Each year at Minnetonka High School the homecoming court goes through a hectic week of photo sessions, the queen's tea, coronation, and the traditional parade. After a week of chaos, when the homecoming dance has come to an end, every member of the 1985 homecoming court will have memories of one of the best weeks of their high school lives. It's a chance for all students to come together and have some fun, and to show our school spirit. There were many activities planned throughout the week. It all started on Monday; a special homeroom was held where the whole school nominated the homecoming court. Tuesday we had our first pepfest. On Wednesday Tonka Boxers with that catchy phrase, I'm behind tonka , were seen everywhere. Thursday was 60's day. And finally on Friday the event everyone had been waiting for, the game against Richfield. The skippers pulled off an outstanding victory of 18 to 0. Saturday afternoon the annual powder puff football game took place. Once again the senior girls beat the skipperettes and cheerleaders. The concluding event of our homecoming week was the dance on Saturday night. For many, homecoming week was a special time, which will always be remembered. Pige 21.
