Our Homecoming Royalty Top The 1984 Homocomng Court: Christie Manning. Jane Bouman. Heio Schmidt. Teresa Cady. Mekssa Emmer. Andrea Grussing. M»che»© Ketchum. Laura McGlosson. U2 Mulen. Heather Carisch. Juke Houg. King Court Ctyborne. Queen Shannon Roberg. Jim Wtiarm. Thodd Paul. Gordon Scott. Dan Huber. Eric Langheinrich. Dan McGinn. Chuck Fruele. Dan Hedkrtd. Troy Curtis. Jim Watsh. and Brett Nicum The highlight of every Homecoming Week is undoubtedly the nominating and choosing of the Homecoming Court, and this year was no exception. The canidates were nominated by the whole school on Monday. Prospective canidates spent an anxious night wondering of they would have the honor of being nominated. During Tuesday in homeroom, the twenty-four canidates were announced. The Homecoming Court of 1984 was: Jayne Bauman. Teresa Cady, Heather Carisch. Melissa Emmer, Andrea Grussing. Julie Houg. Michelle Ketchum. Christie Manning. Laura McGlasson, Liz Mullen, Shannon Roberg, Heidi Schmidt. Court Clyborne, Troy Curtis, Chuck Frizelle, Dan Hedlund. Dan Huber. Eric Langheinrich. Dan McGinn, Brett Nicum. Thadd Paul. Gordon Scott. Jim Walsh, and Jim Wilharm. During the pepfest on Thursday, the canidates were formally introduced to the school. That evening, the coronation ceremony took place. With family and friends looking on. Shannon Roberg was crowned Queen, while Court Clyborne was crowned King. The pride of being chosen by their fellow classmates was what made this year's Homecoming special for all the canidates. 8
