22 Minnetonkafs Flag Line What would half time entertainment at Minnetonka High School football games be without the beautiful display of flags? These Minnetonka students have proven that there is a lot more to being a flag girl than just carrying and twirling a flag. These girls worked hard on perfecting their routines and memorizing each intricate move. Synchronization is one of the most important factors and organization is a must. Along with their great performances at the football games, Flag Girls headed the Homecoming parade. AII dressed in blue and white and with their flags held high, pride in our school's color was displayed. The Flagettes, although dressed in polyester mini- skirts, added a touch of class to the Minnetonka football games. Top: The flags lead the MHS Marching Band down Wa- ter St. in Excelsior during the Homecoming parade. Bottom Left: Kim Klose, Kris Petersen, Tricia Goodwin and Kelly Criswell watch as the football team tries for a victory. Bottom Right: The flagettes struttin' their stuff during halftime.

Voyageurs Well, here it is, your 4984 Voyageur Yearbook. Would you like to know how it was made? It all started back in the summer of '83, A seven day camp was held at Gustavus Adolphus College and Editors from all over the state attended. Classes and workshops were held every day to prepare the staff for the making of a yearbook. The cover was designed, type style set, size and page numbers determined, prices were accomplished and the dreaded deadlines were set. It wasn't but a few weeks into the school year as we approached our first deadline and soon after that, another. Those deadlines had a unique way of creeping up on us, however, toside from the pre- exposed film, the stolen camera, the ruined pictures, the lost copy, early mornings, and late, late nightsy deadlines were met. Thanks to the cooperation of the staff sections: Student Life, Sports, Organizations, Photography, and Copy, the book was completed. We truly hope you enjoy it! 24
