After 100 hours of paint, sawdust, glue, muslin and Obscenities, students become eligible for membership in Thespians. With Mr. Joseph Szarke as advisor, three plays were produced: Macbeth, She Stoops to Conquer, and the musical .l'Finian's Rainbow. Other less vigorous activities include fencing and a canteen. Senior Dave Messick, as the drunken porter in MacBeth falls over the set as Junior Eric Peterson and Senior Chris Chase look on.

Small group meetings, like PTSA, attracted seniors Robbie McCallum, Mike Roberts, Kent Peters, and Clev Peters who evidenced his authority. I propose that . . . because . . . President Rick Greenfield is awed by PaulSadek's proposal. Thus started the first year of Tonka's new student government. Petitions ranging from a request for Playboy to a plea for the return of the lavatory doors were presented to the student body at assemblies. Committees were formed later to discuss the petitions, and in the final stage, the students voted on them. The system as a whole was marked by apathy on the part of the students. It remains to be seen whether next year will bring more ihvolvement on the part of the students. An open campus, Iunchroom inspection, or support for a homeless child are proposals presented by student advocates.

Most of the copies Contained no mistakes; The pictures were bad, In need of retakes. The staff worked like slaves, Catching no sleep. The yearbook was finished - In one gigantic heap.
