Windmills turn for Tonka EDISON'S TONKA'S NO. 1 RESISTOR or is it Tonka's Edison's No.1 Resistor ? The week of Home- coming was just as confusing and exciting as its slogan. The boys didn't care too much for the Queen's Tea, but on the other hand, most girls weren't really wor- ried about missing the Rouser's potluck for the teams. Everybody joined in to complain about the price of the senior breakfast, but all those who attended enjoyed ABUF's rendition of Funky Don Bungum and Jeff Anderson atthe piano. At Friday's coronation pepfest, 1968 Queen Kim El- lertson and Tonka's new Queen Kathy Owens led the crowd in a chorus of tears. The Homecoming game left the fans in an ecstatic mood as the Skippers squeaked by the Tommies in a 16-15 victory. This mood was carried into the Home- coming dance, Windmills of My Mind. Now that it is all over, it is easy to see that Tonka real- ly was Edison's No.1 resistor. Mary Anderson is all lldolled up at the candidates' slumber party the night before Homecoming.
