LORD, 1852-1933 'President of the College 1888-1898 In the passing of Livingston C. Lord, the State of Minne- sota acknowledges a debt to this master teacher. As teacher and superintendent in the public schools of the State and as the first president of the Moorhead Normal School, Mr. Lord did much to establish strong and lofty standards for the State.
