In Memory Of Loren Olberding Loren Olberding, who served as Elementary Principal and Special Education Director from 1982 to August, 1986 will be fondly remembered for his professionalism and commitment to education. Mr. Olberding brought sincerity, compassion, thoughtfulness, and sensitivity to our school. He often spoke warmly of his association with the Minneota School and commented on the spirit and cooperation he found here. The memory of his smile, laughter, and sense of humor will always remain with us. To quote a tribute given at the time of his death, Mr. Olberding was a man who tried hard to please more than to be pleased, who tried to help more than to be helped, who worried more about others than he worried about himself, and who always gave more of himself than he expected to receive.” 2
