President Vicky he it work. , plcal ‘ busy” stu council meeting. 4. More, of the ' . Student Lounge. Once school starts in August, we. the Student Council, begin working on Homecoming. This is the biggest thing we do each fall. Buttons must be decided on. a band chosen for the dance, and the Pep Fest and Coronation planned. The Pep Fest and parade involve T.A.’s and the football and volleyball teams. The next ‘’public thing we do is to help set up the Veteran’s Day program which is November 11 at 11:00 a.m. every year. Before Christmas vacation we plan the Santa Claus time in the gym. We also order the movie we watch on that day. In January we get set for Sno-Ball. This event takes a lot of work, also. In fact, it’s quite a bit like getting ready for Homecoming. Again there is a pep fest with skits and the Coronation. Our major job throughout the year is to help the school spirit which is a big job. This past year we worked on things like: getting the student lounge painted, bought a paint set for making posters, and had a Halloween Dance. Sometimes it seems as though being on the Student Council is a thankless job but those of us who were on it felt it was worthwhile. Some of these things are pictured on these pages. They include: athletic endeavors, the flashlight routine, the Homecoming activities, and hallway shenanigans! We take pride in what we do and through this we take pride in ourselves. 69 STEVEN K. ANDERSON MARIA L. BAUGHER JEFFREY D. ARENDS CORREEN A. BEBRUYCKERE SUZANNE F. COQUYT THOMAS J.
