DEDICATION Synonymous with the increased interest in the Sciences today in our nation, the Minn-Hi-Ann respectfully dedicates the 1963 annual to a man typical of this interest. As an instructor of Solid and Plane Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary and Advanced Algebra, Mr. Levin has gained the Admiration of his students. He is also assistant football Coach. Mr. Levin helped to advocate two of our newly-formed organizations, Future Teachers of America and Math-Science Club. He is now chief advisor of the Math- Science Club. As an influential figure in these organizations, Mr. Levin, the stu- dents of MHS wish to voice their appreciation for these time-consuming tasks. Mr. Levin will also be remembered, not only for his achievements and energy, but also for his pleasant enthusiasm. To You, Mr. Levin, we dedicate our 1963 Minn-Hi-Ann with the utmost sin- cerity . To lead cheers, which help to support our team onto victory, is one of the du- ties of the Senior High Cheerleaders. The Cheerleaders promote good sportsmanship throughout the ath- letic seasons. They organize Pep Fests, also. Junior High Cheerleaders The Cheerleaders for Junior High are Sandra Sorenson, Bonnie Stensrud, and Cheryl Amundson. They also have the responsibility of cheering for the B team. They also participate in Pep Fests, with the Senior High Cheerleaders. Both the Senior High and Junior High Cheer- leaders, are chosen by the Student Body. Cathy Dalager Underclass Attendants Sharon Hoseck, Shirley Christianson, Janet Traen 26 Donna Kjorness was named Homecoming Queen for 1962 at the bonfire held on October 11. On Friday afternoon the parade, led by the Band, featured the Queen and her Attendants, with the class floats, and the Senior class winning the float contest. On Friday evening, October 12, Captain Vince Gawarecki crowned Ddnna, Queen, during the half of the Viking-Dane game, which was won, 14-13.
