This was the first time Minneota had beaten Mar- shall in many years. Minneota continued on their streak by winning 7 more in a row before being beaten by Palaton, 6l to 52. They then won 5 more in a row before being defeated by Lake Benton and Canby. They closed out the season witn a 64 to 63 victory over Renville, the district 12 champions. Minneota won the opening game of the tournaments by defeating Tracy 62 to 52. Minneota lea all the way with Regnier leading the scoring with 25 points. In the semi-finals of the district, Minneota was beaten by Mar- shall 57 to 46. All in all it was a highly successful season with an overall re- cord, including tournament play, of 1 5 wins and 5 losses.
