Program Typifies School Life Ferris Bueller leaped into M.A. life and discovered an array of the strange and bizarre. From getting caught at McDonald’s celebrating a friend’s first date by Paul Norby (John Ester) to being shaken by the new tardy policy, Ferris experienced M.A. to the fullest. Bantering teachers in the faculty lounge and squealing cheerleaders at a typical pepfest highlighted the plot of the junior class production of “Be True To Your School. Held on October 2 in the North Campus gym, the show went very well” according to Director Jon Larson. There was no feeling of a clique, commented Mr. Larson, everyone worked well together. Only two weeks were taken to prepare the cast the show in contrast with the ususal four weeks practice. Aaron Peter (11) along with six other juniors put together the theme and wrote the play. As a grand finale to the evening, Mark Edstrom (12), and Kjersten Rosenquist (12) were crowned King and Queen. Kjersten said the weekend’s hardest part was trying to smile for all the pictures!
