Our spirits were high at noon when the M.A. soccer team met Blake head on. With a score of 4-0 it looked like a shut-out until, with only 22 seconds remaining. Blake scored their only goal. The Indians triumphed with a final score of 4-1. Saturday's Homecoming festivities began at 10 am with girls volleyball. The opponent. Brooklyn Center, was tough, but not too difficult for M.A. Our team was well prepared. HOMECOMING SPOR TS As this year’s football team was getting last minute instructions in the locker room, a crowd was gathering in the stands. Alumni came from the campus room, having just finished a BBQ lunch. Homecoming Royally, and other fans arrived from all directions. At 3 pm the spirited athletes were ready to face St. Anthony. The game began. Fans, with the leadership of the cheerleaders and the “Worlds Worst Walking Band”, enthusiastically encouraged our team.
