To Remember Mrs. Katherine Goulding taught her students the importance of cooking for over two decades here at Minne- chaug. She was Home Economics De- partment Chairman for many years, and will be remembered for imparting the knowledge of creating gastronomi- cal delights to her students. Mr. George Robinson began teaching at Minnechaug during its first year of operation in 1958. Through 1985, he helped several generations of Minne- chaug students through every level of mathematics. He also served as the Mathematics Department Chairman and will always be considered an im- portant and valuable part of Minne- chaug. Mr. Warren Amerman was a chorus instructor at Minnechaug for twelve years, serving many of those years as Department Chairman. Perhaps that for which he will be most remembered is his production of Gilbert and Sulli- van which served not only Minnechaug but the Wilbraham community. We shall miss his talent, warmth and lead- ership. ' Qtt ' Q ' S ■ ' ■ -• -4- ' ■ ' • ' ' vi ■«■ ' .•.. ' ' ? Mrs. Valenta Robinson was a Spanish teacher at Minnechaug for twenty-two years and was very involved in the Foreign Lan- guage Club which she helped mold. She will be greatly missed by her former Spanish students. For fifteen years, Mr. William McLean taught Social Studies here at Minnechaug, and coached the golf team for much of that time. Both his students and players will always re- member him for his exceptional ability to moti- vate. OPENING 5

In the two years that I ' ve been involved in yearbook, I ' ve learned one very important thing — it ' s not as easy as it looks. As an editor, I ' ve had to worry about pictures being taken, copy being typed, and whether we had enough yearbooks for those who bought them! I could never understand why any adult who didn ' t need an activity to get into college would put herself through this kind of torture. Mrs. Diane Jeserski, willingly put her time into the Minnechaug yearbook for a number of years. In fact, when the 1985 staff had no advisor, she graciously accepted the position even with the responsibilities of a two-year old at home. The 1985 Falcon was plagued with problems, but Mrs. Jeserski still kept the book together even in the face of her own personal tragedies that year. The time and effort Mrs. Jeserski put into the Falcon over the years can not be forgotten. The 1986 staff has decided to dedicate our book to Mrs. Jeserski for all that she has given to the yearbook over the years. Thank you Mrs. Jeserski — and we ' ll always remember.
