minnechaug regional high school Falcoii 19U Mr. Edgar Law He gave us his best — on the field and in the classroom. He demanded that we give our best- and in doing so he has shown us the way to a successful life. We, the Class of 1966, proudly dedicate this book to him. r -M After sixteen years of service in the Wilbraham school system, Mr. Irving Agard left to assume the position of Superintendent of Schools in Holden. He can feel pride in the work he has accomplished here. We can feel only regret at his leaving. 7:30 study hall ! . Changing classes This Phys ■ed. book is a record of t. many days --days ■_ of hope, disappoint- ment, fun, toil, laughter, i 3 K.M tears. These are days to look back on--for the lessons learned, the praise well earned , the memories Activity made Time to go Where ' s my bus? ' The Hallowed Halls MR. IRVING AGARD MR. KENNETH JOHNSON Your record as a class and as individuals in the four years at Minnechaug justifies the confidence your parents, your school, and your community have placed in you. You have been challenged by difficult and trying situations, and have responded with courage and honesty. We are proud of your academic achievements and your athletic successes, but will remember you most as delightfully exciting and stimulating young adults. Principal Graduation from high school is a significant stepping-stone along life ' s path- way. However, it is generally accepted today that the formal education so ac- quired is merely a foundation for the vast store of selective knowledge to be ac- cumulated in life. Let your choices be dictated by a sensitive conscience, and implemented by a courageous conviction. Best wishes to the class of 1966. MR. RICHARD TRENHOLM MR. I am proud of your successful completion of your studies at Minnechaug. I am also a bit sad that you are departing. You have been a fine class, a class that has done much to enhance the reputa- tion of Minnechaug. But— I am confident that you will make a useful contribution to our troubled world. There she worked on the yearbook EVZONE, and the newspaper SOPHIST, and took part in a senior drama group. She recalls that an interesting part of the school was a man walking around the corridors and ringing a cow- bell when classes were to change. Now I jump every time I hear a bell! Eric joined the senior class this fall. He was born in Iran and lived there for fourteen years. After that, he lived in Italy, until he came to the United States. Juniors The Junior Class is lively and co-operative. The juniors have added much to Minne- chaug during their three years here. This year they placed many members of their class on varsity sport teams. The Junior Class also won the One-Act-Play Contest, and one of their players was chosen Best Actress. They held a very successful winter dance this year. Their ideas for raising money are both unique and fun. This spring the juniors received their rings and closed a very successful year with their Junior Prom. Minnechaug is proud to have such a class to uphold her name. C-4, Mr. Blanchard. FIRST ROW: V. The Freshman Class entered Minnechaug in a year when our enrollment had expanded to such a number that we did not even fit in the Auditorium. But the freshmen did not let the number of upperclassmen overwhelm them. They participated in all phases of Minnechaug life, adding enthusiasms and honors. Both boys and girls made fine contributions to our sport teams. They were a strong voice in Student Council and helped on many of the committees. The hard work which produced a very successful Halloween Dance is characteristic of this class. B ' -l, Miss Prackneck; FIRST ROW: C. Brown, R. Boynton, J. Bennett, M. Campion, D. Beaumier, D.
