â– BBBBBBsHBHBB 1HLBKAHAM POBLIC LIBRARY j| U A I falcon £ Minnechaug Regional High School £ Wilbraham, Massachusetts I) All of a sudden we have reached The crest of the Hill named Minnechaug, And we face the Mountain called Life . There is still a long way to go, So let us rest awhile and remember . . . We cannot be pushed off this summit Where our flag newly unfurls, And expect to grow up overnight -- We will carry portions of this Never-never land with us forever Where: Praise was accepted quietly for a job well done, And given generously to both the loud and the small; Bleachers were filled with green-and-whites, And ref ' s an old root! ! ! could be heard booingly; Friends, friends and faculty could talk quietly for a better under- standing . And when they ask about us much later, saying, Who was that man on the white stallion? Some will say, I don ' t know . But they will all treasurer the silver bullet . R.N. tf % â–¡ Life is communication. Miss Lit- tle has communicated to Minne- chaug as head of the English de- partment and faculty advisor to the SMOKE SIGNAL and the SCROLL. She has shared her experiences from North Caro- lina, Turkey, and England with many students. Through her en- deavors as a teacher, Miss Lit- tle was selected as Teacher of the Year 1964-1965 in the state of Massachusetts . We, the Class of 1965, also would like to pay tribute to Miss Little for having communicated to us a wider view of life . Table of Contents . academics Superintendent Mr. Irving Agard Mr. Kenneth Johnson TO THE CLASS OF 1965: We have enjoyed watching you grow as a class and as individuals; you have contributed much to the growing tradition of Minnechaug as a school of high academic achievement. Your leadership, de- termination, and continued efforts in athletic competition have brought new recognition to your school. The class of 1965 has established an excellent record at Minnechaug. Principal TO THE CLASS OF 1965: The last four years have seen you grow remarkably in both stature and wisdom. The challenges you have encountered, and successes you have achieved while at Minnechaug, are but samples of those that lie ahead in the diverse paths that you will tread. Keep faith in your better judgement, retain concern for the family of man, and find something worthwhile to contribute each day which will bring lasting enjoyment to you and your community. We congratulate you on your accomplishments to date and wish you well as you seek your niche in the future . Your four years here have reflected great credit upon you and upon Minnechaug. I am con- fident that your indivi- dual efforts in future years will continue to yield achievements of which we may all be truly proud.
