In the academic area, we proudly applaud ' 64 ' s honor students, merit scholarship winners, As Schools Match Wits representatives, Mathletes, and those who have added to their own academic status but who have not been recognized by special or public com- mendation. You have contributed to the esteem that others have for our educational standards- -you have contributed scholars. In the area of leadership, the class officers, student council representatives, moni- tors, leaders corps, and cheerleaders can be justly proud of the competently run program at Minnechaug. You have contributed leaders. In the area of school spirit, the seniors have contributed much to the determination and willingness to maintain a sports record equal to and in some areas better than those of previous years. You have contributed athletes and love and respect for the green and white . May the future endeavors of the Class of ' 64 be equally blessed that they may surpass the record left here at Minnechaug! ! ! Helen Walinski Senior Class Advisor

SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Vice-President: Scott Richards President: Gary Soverow Secretary: Allyson Miller Treasurer: Linda Stedman The annals of the class of ' 64 are now ready to take their place beside those of the classes of ' 61, ' 62, and ' 63. Each class has added to the traditions and reputations of Minnechaug, not only as a class but as individuals-- ' 64 is no exception. Scholastically, the class can be very proud of its fine record and also of its two Merit Scholarship finalists, Gary Soverow and Jim Anderson. This year ' s senior class has contributed its share of athletes to all the sports at ' Chaug and can boast, as a result, of some of the most outstanding teams in the history of the school. ' 64 initiated the now traditional round school rings and was the first to allow girls on the monitor staff. The seniors also sold refreshments at all the home basketball games and carried on the noble tradi- tion of the Minnechomp. The class of 1964 is to be congratulated on its enviable record at Minnechaug. 22
