Write to Column I, The Minneapolis Star 425 Portland Av„ Minneapolis Minn. 55488 or call 372-4444. Cohmmj I am writing to you on behalf of the staff of the Vocational High School yearbook. This is the last year that Vocational will operate as a high school and we are trying to make this final yearbook special for the last 200 Vocational graduates. But with so few students, the cost is prohibitive. We've decided to have a dance-a-thon at the school, with each student soliciting pledges for each hour he dances. Could you help us find someone to donate some refreshments for the 35 students who will be involved? C.F., Minneapolis Those dancer's pauses were especially refreshing thanks to six cases of Coke donated by the Tom Moore Beverage Co. Dave Ball, of the firm’s customer relations department, was happy to contribute to what turned out to be a successful fund-raiser. You said that students, friends, relatives and teachers contributed more than $1,000 to help pay for publishing Tradewind, Vocational's last yearbook. Along with the Coke, you said, the dancers munched on fresh apples donated by a fellow student. DANCE — A — THON
