Welding Upholstery Shoe Repair Welders learned how to carry the torch from Gene Rome (2). Earl Weisner (5) got a laugh out of a shoe repair student, but learning the skills of handling leather and complex machinery was serious business usually. Frederick Rodde (6) prepared his upholstery students to be on their own (7). Physical Education Building better bodies was the job of Gerald Cady (3) and Dorothy Tenny (1), who resigned in November and was replaced by Jane Gilchrist (4).
