When we first come to Vocational, our coordinators know a great deal about us for they are the ones who select those students who qualify to attend Vocational. During the time we are at school, we become well acquainted with them for they are always willing to help us whenever we have a problem concerning our trade or job. Throughout our Junior year, they give us tests to determine our abilities and discuss with us our future plans at different intervals. When we become Seniors, they help us to decide whether we want to work or go on to college. As a result of our co-ordinators’ work, our focus, or “set’’, on our future becomes steady and clear, and we leave Vocational with the confidence that we are equipped to take our place in the world. The attainment of that goal regardless of what it may be will help shape the world of tomorrow. As individuals we help make the world in all its complexities. Though it be but a small part, we give it shape through the things we have learned to believe ami the ideals by which we live. So as the seniors of 1962 emerge after three years at Vocational. it is our hope that they have found a source of inword strength that will give them an opportunity to do their part in the world, as happy and successful citizens. 9 Mr. McCimpiry talks to a parrot.
