Your education has been centered in Christ It has made you sensitive to your needs and those of your fellowman. You are important people. You, and seniors in particular, are the voices of the Christ in a troubled age. The order of our day i s change There are changes in vision, changes in values, and changes in forms. Violence and revolution often accompany change. Our Lutheran High is not immuned to change. You, the graduating class of 1963 will continue to find yourselves involved with change and finding solutions to the prob-Iems of manki nd. I have you in my heart. I have faith in you, and the hope that the time you spent at Lutheran High has deepened your conviction that Christ is very much alive Give yourself to Him as He has given Himself for you. When He disciplines you, thank Him. May our unchanging Lord, living and ever-present be with you always U ±x:u -fid,fflf fvuri U£ 3 c sbmee DA710 HEMME, B.S. Resolved: that Congress should establish uniform regulations for criminal investigation procedures. The varsity team included Dave Olson, Ouane Matthees, Mark Plenke, and Irene Matthees, and the second team included Evelyn Grocnke, Joe Erickson, Teresa Ross, and Louise Grant. On the affirmative team, Duane and Dave had five wins and one loss, and Irene and Mark had three wins for the negative. The debate teams, although one of the less-pub 1icized of the school's activities, has circulated the reputation of the Lutheran High School to many other schools in the Twin Cities area. Can we meet up with enough response next year to bring home a trophy to LHS? There are three people who we are deeply indebted to: John Hinck, who did all our art work and designed the cover; Hr. Hemme, who patiently waited for his wife each night and sacrificed her on weekends, and of course to our wonderful, understanding advisor, Mrs. Hemme.
