BASKETBALL Our Minier WILDCA TS ended their season with a record of 16 games won and 10 lost. Seeded sixth in the county tournament, we upset the apple cartand placed second. For this we received a second place trophy. We also tied for second place in the Mackinaw Valley League. We defended Chief Mackinaw, the traveling trophy of the conference, for 4 conference games before losing it. This has been another good season for the WILDCATS, The WILDCA TS will lose only two seniors this year, Bill Mueller and Bill Imig. Although they will be missed greatly, here's wishing the WILDCA TS of 55-56 the best of luck. BASEBALL Our baseball team had great success this year by winning the M.V.L. baseball championship. One thing that contributed to the success of the team was the new field on which we played. Also there was the fact that some of the boys were able to play baseball all summer by playing in Bloomington through the Ameri- can Legion. The most important contribution was the fine coaching job that was done, for without a coach there would be no team at all. Our record for the season was 6 wins and l loss. Listed below are the batting averages of the players which are very good.
