HaioM Newsom: I will my place in FFA to Jimmy Lunsford, my glasses to Tony Wenz, and my height to Jerry Arthur. lean Fraley: I will my ability to be Class Treasurer to Pat Fraley in her Sophomore and Junior years and my pretty eyes and glasses to Betty Collins. -Audrey Icegarden: I Will my ability to go steady with Augusta boys and my love for Pontiacs and Chevy’s to Virginia Gill and Diana Bush. Alleu Eerlet I will my Coronet to Mr. Applegate and my love to Ann Scott. -Arni Lmrnuui: I will my ability to stay in and watch the ballgames to Betty Lee and Jackie Collins and my ability to bite my fingernails to Betty Collins. £eggy -Lang: I will my love for Spanish to Betty Burns and my singing ability to Bobby Lewis. Wanda Selienk: I will my personality to Wanda Sims and my ability to go with a Bracken County boy to Bessie Ormes. IsiOn. WetUi I will my ability to be Senior Class president to Tony Wenz and my place on the cheerleading team to Regina Newsom. CLASS PROPHECIES OF '59 In the future, we look in on Ronnie Walch and find him playing his guitar, with a bottle of beer in one hand and singing, Old Gray Mare Ain't What She Use To Be. Three years from now, we look in on Ann Emmons and find her shoveling snow off the walk so her husband Ronnie Walch can go to work without getting his feet wet. A few years from now, we look in on Audrey Teegarden happily married to a lucky Augusta boy. We look in on Margaret Marshall after her high school work and find her happily married to Robert Lang with a nice cozy family of six. In later years we look in on Alpha Lucas and Hobert Gilbert happily married and running after all the little Gilberts. In ten years, we look in on Phyllis Sims as Mrs. Gene Hickman and find several little Hick- Ups running about. [ 14 ]

CLASS WILLS OF '59 Junior Crawford: I will my ability to be the class joker to Billy Sidell, who I think has earned it and will follow in my footsteps. Johnny Carpenter: I will my safe driving to Tony Wenz and my walk to Donnie Hay. Hveda Fraley; I will my job at the Sunset Inn to Regina Newsom. Joe Halleran: I will my ability to drive a Chevrolet to Donnie Hay and my crip shot to Billy Sidell. Brenda Harney: I will my temper to Mr. Scotty Bierley and my love for English to David Harney. Joe Slack: I will my class ring to Barbara Gilbert and my ability to play basketball to Pete Davis. Phyllis Sims: I will my glasses to Betty Collins and my personality to Bessie Ormes. Mary Darnell: I will my ability to be quiet to Martha Wells and my smallness to Ann Lyons. Jo Ann Adams: I will my typewriter to Alma Darnell and my love for theme writing to Jerry Jones. Patsy Rigdon: I will my religion to Coach Bob Hall and my ability to go steady to Pat Forman. Helen Hinton: I will my Spanish book to Norman Hinton and my natural curly hair to Pat Forman. Barbara Reed: I will my position as president of FHA to Ann Scott and my ability to stay away from and not talk about Augusta to Donnie Hay. Ronnie Walch: I will my love for the Bop to Mr. Scotty Bierley and my singing and guitar playing to Billy Myers. Harry Gibbs I will my starting position on the varsity team to Pete Davis. Alpha Lucas: I will my love for English to the Juniors and my typing ability to Linda Allison. Jewell Schmidt: I will my natural wavy hair to Alma Darnell and my love for Spanish to Velma Tucker. Margaret Marshall: I will my love for Spanish to Hattie Rice and Bobby Lewis and my typing ability to Wendall Pollitt. Albert Poe: I will my class ring to Ann Jacobs and my ability to get out of as many classes as possible to Donnie Hay. [ 13 ]

Ten years from now, we look in the home of Mr. -Mrs. Allen Porter, where Allen is adding moth balls to his gas tank for more speed and Ann caring for the nine chubby Porter’s. In future years, we see Charlotte Wells and lirnie getting married, while Joe Hallaran is crying his eyes out. We find Junior Crawford in the Dover pool room with a cue stick in one hand and cigarette ashes in his mustache. Li the future, we see Harold Newsom Goose getting in his Ford trying to get away from his nagging wife, Janice Ashcraft, and his ten blonde Geese . In a few years, we see Harry Body Gibbs married to Peggy Lang with three little Body Boos playing basketball on Mr. Applegate's Professional team. Within the next ten years, we'll see Bveda Fraley going to a modeling school in Hollywood to please Jack Condon. We look in the future and see, Jewell Schmidt hopping a ride with her beloved, Jimmy Arthur. We look in on joe Halleran ten years from now and find him pushing his old Ford to the grocery store after food for his six black headed boys. Two Years from now, we look in on Brenda Harney and find her happily married to Pat Barry with a lot of little freckled faced Barrys running around. In the future we see Joe Slack married to the Collector of Rings , Barbara Gilbert, and each little Slack wearing a different School's class ring. In the future, we will find Helen Hinton as Mrs. Benny Kidder, and a lot of little Kidders. Jean Fraley will be well on her way to Texas after school to become Mrs. Steve Cooper. We'll probably find Johnny Carpenter, two years from now, down on his knees begging Martha, or Jackie, to marry him. In the not too distant future, we see Albert Poe has traded his Mercury for a cow in order to feed Jacobs and the little Poes. In the future, we find Mary Darnell scrubbing up footprints made by her husband Albert Poe after she just got through working. We look ahead of us in the future and find Peggy Lang as Mrs. Harry Gibbs, nursing twins. In about two years, we see Wanda Scheek engaged to Roy Bell nervously wailing for the church bells to ring. In the future years, Jo Ann Adams, we presume, will be a poet from the looks of her Lnglish book. In two years, we find Patsy Rigdon trying to decide whether she loves Butch Stevens or Johnny Carpenter. In the future years we find Joan Wenz going to college at Covington, looking for a sweetheart which must be tall, handsome and rich. And last but not least we find Barbara Reed as Mrs. Jake Askrens down on her knees BEGGING Jake to allow her to go to work as Mr. Shelby Mason’s trustworthy secretary. [ 15 ]
