The river keeps moving along making its own course. sometimes rapidly, at other Hmes slowly, qui- etly, yet never stagnamialways moving. There will be times in our lives when we may seem to be at a standstill. Yet people need to keep moving, even if it is at a slower pace, The Brazos River, like the Wiver of life has its beginningats rough spots and its calm spots, There are various moods of the river, but no matter what they are, it is always beautiful.

The years Mrs Fiedler has spent in the classroom represent a true Symbol of Life. She attained her goal because she had a defi- nite purpose. Her standards were high and she worked diligently to reach her goal. Mrs. Fiedler's love of history and the desire to impart knowledge to others, coupled with perseverance and a positive attitude, have been factors in her successful teaching career. It is rare to find such a dedicated personhone with such capabilihes. Our school has been enriched and blessed because of such an outstanding teacher. Her approach is unusual, positive, that of one se- cure in her knowledge. It is refreshing to en- ter her classroom because she commands the interest and attention of her sludems. Members of Lhe BURRO staff proudly dedi- cate the 1975 BURRO to Mrs. Eugene Fiedler because we love, cherish, and respect her. She is a Symbol of Life.
