Who ED PINSON The Shy One jump up and shout, screamed the twisting Twist fan down at the Carolina Theatre one night. This is just one of the many sayings quoted from our laughter-spreading boy, Ed Pinson. For many students can tell you that Ed is the boy who has an answer for any question. I-le is the only boy ever heard of who can explain why snow will melt on one side of a telephone pole and not melt on the other side. Yes, he's the one who has everyone fooled, for Ed is not so shy as most people think. This boy really becomes himself when around the gang. However, Ed is not always clowning. There are many things in which he shows serious interest. A member of the football team for four years, he has contributed much with his hustling energy. JIM Ricci Rico Known around Mineral Springs as Rico, seen Twisting the Night Away at sock hops, and being a favorite on the football team, is jim Ricci. Although he's little, jim is very muscular and sturdy. A Tri- Captain of the football team, he helped the Bulldogs fight for victory at his position as guard. jim has led our class as President while we were Sophomores, and as class Vice -President in our junior year when first we became upper classmen. Liked by all his classmates, jim is often thought of as the boy with the accent. A Rhode Islander until he came to Mineral Springs, he adapted to our way of life from the very beginning. To see his winning smile and to hear his friendly greeting for all is a privilege. For jim could be referred to as one of the friendliest boys at Mineral Springs.
