BECKY CAUDLE . . .in her natural ways. We've heard of rumors about babying cars, but could there possibly be a little White English Ford at Mineral Springs that a certain girl must be extra careful with? fShe claims her car has mixed e motions. JAnd is this the girl who can question her teachers so naively yet so sincerely? Yes, it's Becky Caudle who as a freshman asked her home economics teacher, How many sleeves does a blouse have? Becky rarely to be funny, these are her natural ways. She often makes the honor roll, and because of her high scholas- tic achievement, she was chosen a junior Marshal. A very active member of the Youth for Christ Club, Becky has given much of her spare time toward the advancement of the club's purpose. As a citizen of the school community, she is a valuable asset. Who's MICKEY AUSTIN Ladies' Man A brown thatch of hair, a happy-go-lucky personality, and hidden muscles under his shirt sleeves describe the all-American boy on campus, Mickey Austin. Suave, debonair, dark, and mischievous, Mickey is referred to as the ladies' man around Mineral Springs. Not only is he popular with girls because of his masculine charms, but he is also liked by boys equally well because he typifies the regular guy. One of the four track team Captains, and a member of the cross-country team, he has helped to lead the boys through many victories. As a halfback on the football team, Mickey proved himself an essential player during the season. Yes, he E a vital guy, not only for the pleasure he affords the girls, but also for the way he brightens up the school scene.

Who DARRELL CHURCH Wonder Wit Who's the guy with a knack for changing cars Qfirst a Chevy and now a Renaultj, who's always running around with a crowd, forever wearing crazy hats, and referring to Mr. Stroupe as Big 'Dave and getting away with it? You guessed it-that's Darrell! Often referred to as the Wonder Wit, he is known around Mineral Springs for his witty and friendly ways. Behind his glasses you'll often see a blushing face and widespread grin, topped off by a nutty sense of humor. For his leadership abili- ties, Darrell was chosen as a junior Marshal last year and as Vice-President of the Key Club this year. A very dependable fellow, Darrell is the boy to have around. His imagination combines explosively with his wit to form a personality which is genuinely unique. NANCY CROMER ll Suzy!! Now y'all, says the pert red-head. These are the trade marks of one of the most popular students at Mineral Springs. For whether she is c h e e r l e a di n g, gabbing with her friends,or smiling her winning smile, our Nancy is a charmer. Known here at school as a sharp dresser, Nancy has an original streak in her fashion taste which tends to start fads among the girls. An example of this is the usage of a toothbrush to tease her locks. As a Co-Chief Cheerleader, Nancy plays an important role in spurring school spirit. She is. . . Suzy! Yeah, uh huh- Now students, we know you know your stuff 3 This red-headed girl yells loud enough. She suzies to her left and suzies to her right. We know! That's Nancy Cromer, all right!
