We, JEANETTE ELLIOT, CAROL MOTE, LOUISE FOWLER, and VIRGINIA BOYD, leave to Mr. Dyer one perculator, for that cup of coffee he always needed and a book entitled, How to Get Laughs From Dry Stale Jokes. No, Mr. Dyer, we're just kidding, your jokes aren't dry-they're just stale! We, IRENE WILLARD, LINDA WILLIAMS, and LINDA REICH, leave-wishing we could take it all with us. I, JIMMY MYERS, bequeath my ability to be late for homeroom to Eddie Flowers. I, NANCY MOORE, leave my two-tone hair to anyone who's crazy enough to want it. We, JAMES SPAINHOUR, HAROLD TILLEY, and NELSON BUTT, leave our latest invention to the school-A door that closes but will not open, in hopes that all the boys will make good use of it. I, NADINE HUDSON, bequeath my ability to create laughter everywhere I go, to Brenda Marshall. We, LARRY POSEY, BEN SMITH, and FRANK SMITH, leave our positions in the Y. F. C. Club with the hope that our work will long be remembered. We, PAT SIZEMORE, BRENDA OWENS, and ANNETTE SPICKLER, leave our red hair to Mr. Sims. Wonder if there's such a thing as a red 'bald head ? We, STEVE WALKER, and JERRY BYERLY, leave our love for sports to Allen Smith, Mickey Austin, and Calvin Lawson. I, FAYE SMITH, looking over the things which I have-decided to keep them. I, STEWART FULK, regretfully leave my position as the only boy in Mr. Dyer's bookkeeping class to any boy who likes girls as much as I do. We, GUY HOLCOMB, CHARLES I-IUTCHINS, DOUG HOOKER, and LARRY TEAL, being in a very generous frame of mind, leave Fleta-not a set of cue sticks-but a brand new pool table! We, BONNIEKBEESON and MARY ELLEN GARDNER, leave our positions on the Library Staff to Judy Goins and Sara Poindexter, who we hope will collect more over-due fines than we did. We, DAVID BLACKBURN, RICHARD THOMAS, CHARLES BRADLEY, and JERRY HUFFMAN, leave some advice to the boys- Never shoot the bull to kill time. I, BECKY HUNTER, leave my seat in the Carolina Theater and the ability to watch the same Robert Wagner movie for as long as it runs, to anyone who likes him as well as I do. To our teachers who have so untiringly helped us along the way, we bequeath our sincere affections and gratitude, for the diploma we receive could not have been possible without your help. We, KAY PRIDDY, DONNA DUGGINS, and BETTY HALL, leave our cheerleading uniforms, muddy football fields, and cheering crowds to Connie Kapp, Nancy Cromer, and Judy Hutcherson. I, DON REDDING, bequeath my ability to get called to the office every day to Byron Henley, in hopes he will go the first time he is called. We, BARBARA WEST, BECKY HAUSER, DANNY PRIOR, GALE WAAS, and VIRGINIA BREWER, will to Miss Hobbs a clock for the journalism room. Purpose: To prevent news from getting out before time.
