Ei 1 ff 4' ll' ' I The Student Council is the student government organization at Mineral Springs. The Council is composed of the officers and one representative from each homeroom in the school, each participating on some active committee. It is the duty of the representatives to speak for the students in the high school. During the past year the Council has sponsored a Student Suggestion Box from which have come some very worthy ideas. Perhaps the biggest Student Council project undertaken during the past year was the Dog- house, the recreation room for all students. The Council also decorated the cafeteria for the Homecoming Dance. The various committees and their chairmen were as follows: Traffic Committee ...... Lunchroom Committee ........ Finance Committee ............ Student Suggestion Committee ..... Personal and Public Relations .... Building and Grounds ......... 129 . Shelva Wood Bill Hutchens Doug Choplin . . . . Wanda Knott . Janie Rhodes Martha Styers
