Members of the- club were selected from those students who were especially interested in library service and on the basis of capability, scholarship, and citizenship. Each member must com- plete a course of study in library science and serve two hours per week in the library. Library staff members receive one-half unit per year for their service in addition to at monogram if certain standards are achieved.

With Mrs. Joyce sponsor, they meet monthly in accordance with its constitution and levys a small membership fee. The purpose of this organization is to study the aspects of public oration as well as that of poised social speaking, with a view toward correcting defects and improving both speech and delivery. sl!
