The purposes of this organiza- tion are as follows: to promote a growing appreciation For the ioys and satisfactions of home life, to em- phasize the importance of worthy home membership, to encourage democracy in home and community life, to work For good home and family life for all, to promote international good-will, to foster the develop- ment of creative leadership in home and community life, to provide wholesome individual group recrea- tion, and to Further interest in home economics. Meetings are held once monthly with organized programs in charge oF certain groups of girls, and worthwhile trips are taken throughout the year. Representatives attend the district, area, and state meetings.
