Freshmen When we pulled out of the junior high school sta- tion, we were signed up for a four year trip. Some of the trip tickets read Joy Ride ; others said Salt Mines. But no matter what, this safari promised to be a new experience. Carrying a full cargo of books, we chug-chugged up and down the three flights of stairs that separate No Man's Land from the more civilized parts of the building. At the Freshman Orientation Assembly we were read the Articles of War concerning proper be- havior and introduced to the extra-curricular activi- ties. Rest assured there was something for everyone from the beatnik to the egghead. We frol- icked at the Freshman Orientation Dance, ran our- selves ragged to secure top place in the Magazine Campaign, and reveled in MHS victories on grid and court.
